Defenders of a Shattered Guild

After what has seemed like an eternity (but in actuality was a long and painful 2 months) of cancellations, wipes, impromptu holidays, breaks and recruitment woes; Entourage finally prevailed. In our typical, anti-climatical fashion we turned up to the raid and killed Nefarian on our first attempt, with no deaths no less.
Like a weasel in a moist towel we had tried every possible tactic known to man (or weasel for that matter) and finally settled on the most commonly used approach ever. Thanks Winno! Overdrawn annoyances aside the fight itself was a nice change of pace in terms of tuning and difficulty in strict juxtaposition to the majority of Cataclysm, perhaps to the exception of Cho’gall and Al’Akir.

After Nefarian’s surprisingly swift demise we gave Halfus Heroic mode a shot and nailed the altered boss fight in under an hour. Hopefully (unlike my last Kill post’s prediction) many more bosses will fall in quick succession but quite frankly in this guild you never know what’s going to happen next.
